The sow in the block disappeared a couple of days ago to go and have her young as all sows prefer to go out on their own to have their piglets.
I decided to go looking for her and the first time I looked was with my son Bryce and one of his mates Stacy, we looked up the left side of the gully but could not find her so the next day I went up the right side on my own. As I was sneaking along I heard her talking with her young ones so I slowly crept in closer. Once the sow realised that I was close she did not worry to much so I got in close to get some photos. Because the sow was not panicked her three little piglets walked right up to me and sniffed my hand.

She has two dark grey piglets and one white and they are all boars which is good news for me as I do not want to many sows in the block as they breed to fast and these young piglets will one day be my next generation training pigs.
