First day of lockdown I was down by the cattle yards when Tig and Rastus put a bail up the my QE11 block. As I closed in on this bail Tig stood back with me while Rastus and Bro bailed well enough for me to almost put the gun to this young 70 pound boars ear. Great start to the lockdown.
I have been spending a bit of lockdown chopping down some pine trees that were blocking part of our view from the deck. This will put me another year ahead with our firewood supply.
We are also right in the middle on lambing so the dogs are getting to learn to act calm around them.
Yesterday I noticed one of my sows had got into the next block over so I had taken Bro and Rastus over to give her a stir up to convince her to stay in her own block.
Once the dogs had giving her a stir up we carried on up the hill to see the sheep, cows and horse.
