Anthony came in with his dog bluff for their first training session back in April 2 While it took a wee bite to get Bluff keen to join in on that first run she did start to get the idea of what she was there for. I find the dogs that are willing to stand back and watch and learn easier to train. By the time that Anthony and Bluff had left, bluff had much more knowledge of what to do when there was a pig around even though she was still quit young.
In October Anthony was back to give
Bluff another run. This time bluff was that much older so it was not just on the pigs that she got her training as we also took her around many other animals as all pig dogs need to know what not to hunt as much as they need to know what to hunt.
Bluff is now hunting well and catching her own pigs.
